After breaking out of her island prison Titania, she battles the Abbey and their Exorcists who have shed their emotions in pursuit of victory against Monsters. Due to having an imbued hand as a vessel bandaged up in her left arm, she is shunned and feared by the world. She was subsequently imprisoned because of an incident that happened three years prior to the events of the series in her village. Originally kind and family-oriented, the events of the Scarlet Night three years prior turned her into an angry woman fueled by vengeance. She is a 19-year-old human woman transformed into a Therion granted with the powers to consume monsters and absorb their souls, and therefore refers to herself as a Daemon. The two hours will go by in the blink of an eye and you'll be wishing there was more.Velvet Crowe (ベルベット・クラウ, Berubetto Kurau), also known as " Velvet the Therion" (喰魔のベルベット, Kuuma no Berubetto literally meaning "Velvet the Daemoneater"), is the fictional character and protagonist from the Tales of RWBY series created by Yoshiharu Gotanda and Monty Oum. This is one movie that any lover of westerns or anyone simply longing for a good movie with good acting will not want to miss. He carries the film on his very able shoulders, but Bale gives him a good run for his money in the acting department. He goes from charming to deadly and back again all in the blink of an eye. He is the bad guy you actually might end up rooting for. But what really drew me in were the stellar performances, particularly that of Crowe. The action is virtually non-stop which makes for a compelling, exciting story. The supporting cast are all wonderful and in particular, Ben Foster, Fonda and Logan Lerman as Bale's oldest son. The scenes between these two men are riveting and a display of acting at its best. His protagonist is Christian Bale who turns in a nuanced performance as the down-on-his luck rancher. That's largely due to the outstanding performances by the cast, ably led by the alpha male, bad guy, Russell Crowe. It's one of the best westerns and best all-around movies I've seen in a long time.
